About MLM Analyst

A Day at the (preferred) MLM Analyst office
I’m a fairly typical small business owner. I went to business school and then worked for some big technology firms. And I enjoyed that. But the entrepreneurial bug bit me hard enough that I eventually started my own technology business and now make a living with it. I enjoy a fair amount of flexibility. Sounds almost like I’m living the MLM dream – except that I’m not.
I’ve been around network marketing friends and companies for all of my adult life and I’m fascinated by the industry – its people, products, promises, etc. – but I’ve never actually participated in it. I know insiders throughout the industry and enjoy constant debates about its upsides and downsides and how it compares to other industries.
You could say that being an objective MLM outsider has become a major hobby. So naturally, I decided to blog about it. I hope you enjoy!
Finally, please excuse my anonymity. I think it will help preserve my objectivity, not to mention my privacy. Plus, I’ve got nothing to sell. I make my living in a completely non-related industry and I’m afraid having my name or business also appearing in the network marketing industry would only confuse my customers.
A few things to consider if you want to comment on posts or articles: 1) I don’t do analyses on individual companies, so I won’t be giving any advice about joining one company or another, and 2) I don’t approve/publish comments that either add no value to the discussion or seem to be blatently pushing one company. You can mention who you work with but you might find me editing out blatant plugs or slams so this doesn’t become a platform for either promoting or bashing.
